Here's what to know about the NCAA college hoops title oddsboard:
The New Favorite: Early in the season, it was crowded atop the oddsboard, with Purdue, Duke and Houston. But then Michigan separated from the pack and was the favorite for several weeks. However, over the last week, Arizona passed the Wolverines as the new favorite, as the Wildcats' odds have moved to +400 from +550. At 21-0, Arizona is ranked first in the country, and some of the Wildcats' most notable wins have come over UCLA, UConn, Auburn, Alabama and BYU. Brayden Burries leads the team in points (15.2), while Jaden Bradley leads the squad in assists (4.4) and steals (1.9). At the beginning of December, Arizona's odds to be the last team standing were +1300.
Michigan in the Mix: While the Wolverines moved slightly to +475 from +400, they're still right in the mix when it comes to championship futures. Yaxel Lendeborg has been an absolute superstar for Michigan, averaging 14.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The Wolverines suffered their first loss of the season on Jan. 10, falling 91-88 to Wisconsin. UM was ranked No. 7 in the preseason but now sits at No. 3. Some of the Wolverines' most dominant performances include beating San Diego State by 40, Auburn by 30, Gonzaga by 40 and USC by 30.
